What this site is
An editorial publication about men's grooming products. It is funded by affiliate commissions and it sells nothing itself. Every purchase you make is a transaction with a retailer, under that retailer's terms, and we are not a party to it.
The limits of the information here
- We have not tested any product on this site. Picks are compiled from published manufacturer specifications and scored with arithmetic printed on the page. The method, and its limits, are set out in full.
- Specifications can be wrong or can change. Every one cites its source so you can check it. Manufacturers revise products without renaming them, and a figure correct on the date it was compiled may not be correct today.
- Assumptions are assumptions. Shaves per blade, grams per lather, service life - all are our stated working figures, labeled as such wherever they appear, and none is a measurement.
- Nothing here is medical advice. Pages that touch skin conditions say so and point at a doctor. Nobody involved in this site is medically qualified.
- Prices are not shown unless they are live-verified, and a verified price older than 48 hours disappears. The price at the retailer when you click is the real one.
The content is provided as it is, without warranty. Shaving involves sharp objects and products applied to skin; you use the information here at your own risk, and you should follow the manufacturer's own instructions for anything you buy.
